Biosecurity

Biosecurity is a set of measures designed to help protect a farm or premises from the entry and spread of pathogens causing diseases. Biocontainment is an important component of biosecurity, which  includes a series of management practices that prevent the spread of pathogens between animal populations on a farm and pathogens from leaving the farm.
