Manitoba Municipal Heritage Site No. 366
Heritage North Museum Designation Date: December 12, 2011 Heritage North Museum is valued primarily as an attractive purpose-built that tells the story of the Thompson area through artifacts and activities. Built from a log kit designed by Prince George log builder and well known instructor Allan Mackie, its log construction recalls the early buildings erected by pioneers in Manitoba's forested northern regions, reminding residents and visitors alike of Thompson’s recent frontier history.
