Welcome to Manitoba Culture, Heritage and Tourism.

On behalf of Manitobans, I invite you to celebrate our vibrant arts and culture.  Our cultural mosaic includes one of the largest, liveliest Aboriginal communities in Canada, the second-largest Francophone community outside of Quebec and new Manitobans from all around the world.

Marvel at the creativity of the talented dancers, visual artists, singers, film and theater producers, culinary experts and literary giants who bring us all honour and pride.

Manitoba's cultural energy is wonderfully inspiring!  We are home to world –class performing arts groups and internationally renowned creative artists. Grassroots arts programs nurture casual interest or rising stardom.

Feel the warmth and be entertained by our lively festivals and cultural events all year round.  Be amazed by the unique and natural beauty of the North, its pristine boreal forest, thousands of lakes teeming with trophy-sized fish.

Explore our rich heritage displayed in our museums, archives, and historic sites. Our history is preserved in our school curriculums and referenced in the community through the names of our streets, bridges and towns. We are a province that appreciates where it has been, and is excited about where it is going.

Arts, culture, heritage, and tourism bring tremendous value to our economy and to the outstanding quality of life in our province.

Join us for the wonderful journey….
