Proposals have been filed by The Rural Municipality of West St. Paul, to obtain Licences to operate the following existing wastewater treatment plants which serve the respective local improvement districts:
RIVERDALE (CLIENT FILE: 4108.00)
Located on Vandal Street Public Reserve Plan Nos. 17413 and 15013. The wastewater treatment process consists of aerating the incoming untreated wastewater in an aeration chamber followed by a settling period in a clarifier. The clear effluent then flows through a chlorine contact chamber before being discharged to the Red River through an existing sewer outfall pipe.
RIVERCREST (CLIENT FILE: 4109.00)
Located on Deepdale Blvd. Public Reserve Plan No. 5779. The wastewater treatment plant consists of an aerobic biological process known as Batch Aeration. The treated effluent flows through a disinfection chamber for further treatment and is discharged to the Red River through an existing sewer outfall pipe.
LISTER RAPIDS (CLIENT FILE: 4110.00)
Located on Diane Drive Public Reserve Plan No. 18190. The wastewater treatment process consists of aerating the incoming untreated wastewater in an aeration chamber followed by a settling period in a clarifier. The clear effluent then flows through a chlorine contact chamber before being discharged to the Red River through an existing sewer outfall pipe.
