TOWN OF VIRDEN - INDUSTRIAL WASTE TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL FACILITY (CLIENT FILE: 4885.00)
A proposal has been filed by Hazco Environmental Services Limited on behalf of the Town of Virden, for the development and continuing operation of an industrial waste treatment and disposal facility, consisting of an area for the treatment of petroleum contaminated soil and an area for the disposal in a lined cell of other wastes generated by oil and gas producers and other industrial waste generators, located at SE 1/ 4 24-11-26 WPM in the Rural Municipality of Wallace. The facility consists of a pad where petroleum contaminated soil will be treated by bioremediation and a landfill for the disposal of approved soil and miscellaneous oilfield/industrial wastes. The facility is located at the Virden Waste Disposal Grounds site.
