An application has been filed by Mr. Shane McMahon, on behalf of Battery Direct, for the operation of a waste lead acid battery transfer facility to be located at #3, 2073 Logan Avenue in Winnipeg. The facility will be used for the purpose of transferring waste batteries from a collection vehicle to the warehouse for short term storage prior to shipment for recycling.
