Manitoba's Crown Timber Pricing



new Trucking Productivity Improvement Fund

Manitoba Conservation and Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation (MIT) are communicating with timber operators and motor carriers to share information on the process to apply to haul overweight loads of raw forest products during the raw forest product season on a network of Manitoba highways. 

MIT, Motor Carrier Permits and Development is currently transitioning carriers requesting Raw Forest Product Permits into the Trucking Productivity Improvement Fund (TPIF) program.

Travel costs to and from the courses and all meals and lodgings are the responsibility of the candidate. Approved safety hats, vest, boots and glasses are mandatory along with clothing suitable for field work.
