Turtle Mountain Provincial Park

For those who thirst for adventure Turtle Mountain Provincial Park is a wealth of inspiration. This landscape was the first to emerge from the last ice age and is comprised of frequent wetlands, hills and a deciduous forest. Based at the interpretive centre, interpreters offer a wide range of curriculum-based programs that cover topics such as First Nations culture, geology, wildlife and vegetation. School programs are offered from mid-May to the end of June. The park also offers a wonderful variety of family recreational activities. Take a hike on the Disappearing Lakes and Wildlife Viewing self-guiding trails or go for a bike ride on some of the most challenging and beautiful trails in Manitoba. Swimming, canoeing and hiking are also first rate. Turtle Mountain Provincial Park is located approximately 100 km south of Brandon along PTH 10. For more information, contact:
