Canadian Heritage Rivers System is Canada’s national river conservation program. It promotes, protects and enhances Canada’s river heritage, and ensures that Canada’s leading rivers are managed in a sustainable manner. Manitoba is home to four of these outstanding rivers.”
Park Management Plans A management plan ensures that the main purposes of a park are considered when land use decisions are made. It provides details on what land uses are appropriate and assures that new activities or developments are compatible with the long-term management of the park.
