Wildlife Viewing Tower

Did you see how large its legs were? Moose are shy, solitary, well equipped to detect and avoid intruders. The viewing tower at the end of this trail has four interpretive signs that describe the life of moose. A spotting scope is provided for close observation of prime moose habitat and with a little luck moose. The trail begins in an area of mixed forest and in a short time one reaches the tower on the fringe of Grassy Narrows Marsh. Return distance 1 km. Allow 30 min.
