ARI (Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Institute)
Air-conditioning and refrigeration institute standards for recovery/recycling equipment performance and refrigerant purity.  An overview of ARI standard 700, specification for fluorocarbon refrigerants and ARI standard 740, refrigerant recovery/recycling equipment.

ASHRAE - American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers
An international organization providing information on heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration for the public's benefit through research, standards writing, continuing education and publications.

Environment Canada - Canada's Ozone Layer Protection Program
Information on the history of ozone layer depletion, the science of ozone depletion, federal regulations and about what is happening across Canada, as well as detailed reports on federal actions taken.

HARC - Halon Alternatives Research Corporation
Provides information on the development and approval of environmentally acceptable halon alternatives used in fire fighting, as well as information on halon recycling.

HRAI - Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada
Provides information heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration for the public's benefit through research, standards writing, continuing education and publications.  Downloadable documents and information on HCFC refrigerant phase out timelines and CFC containing chiller replacements.

Manitoba Ozone Protectin Industry Association (MOPIA)
Manitoba's industry stakeholder association working to protect the ozone layer and a technical resource for information and services related to atmosphere protection.  Ozone statistics, downloadable documents, and information from national and international sources.

RMC - Refigerant Management Canada
An industry managed environmental stewardship organisation focusing on the proper collection and disposal of ozone depleting substances for Canadian refrigeration and air conditioning industries.

RSES - Refrigeration Service Engineers Society
Provides information on heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration as well as provides educational and certification programs.

SAE International - Publications Home Page
