* Objectives pH <6.50 or >9.00 pH units, Objective for the protection of aquatic life.
Specific Conductivity < 1000 uS/cm, Objective for domestic consumption.
Total Suspened Solids < 25 mg/L.
Fecal Coliform Bacteria > 200 organisms/100 mL, Objective for recreational water use including swimming.
Unionized ammonia Objective is calculated and is temperature and pH dependant. This Objective is for the protection of aquatic life.

* With the exception of pH all data was log transformed to reduce variance and provide a more accurate assessment of similarity or difference between sites.
** Secchi disk differences were not calculated since the bottom of the river could frequently be seen. Therefore Secchi disk measurements did not reflect turbidity unless the water was unusually turbid.
