Classification Process and Forms

Compensation Services Branch, Labour Relations Division, Treasury Board Secretariat, Department of Finance is responsible for the evaluation and classification of all bargaining unit and excluded positions effective February 2, 2009. The benefit of this change is to ensure consistency of the Classification Plan; improve on the turnaround times of classification decisions and to identify potential process improvements. All positions will be evaluated and classified consistent with the applicable job evaluation method.

This initiative will impact employees, managers and Human Resource Branches submitting classification requests.
