2020 Flood Preparedness Seminars

The Manitoba Emergency Measures Organization 2020 Flood Preparedness Seminars are designed to provide local authorities, emergency services personnel and volunteers with the latest forecast on water levels for the major water systems in the province. Invited to attend the half-day event are:

  • Mayors/Reeves
  • Councils
  • Chief Administrative Officers
  • Emergency Coordinators
  • Chiefs and Councils of Manitoba First Nations
  • Emergency Services staff
  • Non-Government Organizations (NGO)

  • Monday, March 9, 2020 (9:00 a.m. – noon) – Red River Basin - Morris Multiplex, Crocus Room, 380 Stampede Grounds, Morris
  • Tuesday, March 10, 2020 (9:00 a.m. – noon) – Assiniboine and Souris River Basins - Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Centre, 3550 Victoria Avenue, Brandon
  • Wednesday, March 11, 2020 (9:00 a.m. – noon) –Interlake, Winnipeg River Basin - Selkirk Recreation Complex Hall (lower hall/east entrance), 180 Easton Drive, Selkirk


There is no registration fee. Accommodation and transportation costs are the responsibility of participant or sponsor.
