The Western Premiers’ Conference (WPC) is a forum for Premiers to discuss issues that are of interest or concern to the seven western provinces and territories. The provinces and territories that are included in WPC meetings are British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. WPC meetings are held annually and their locations rotate among the seven jurisdictions. Manitoba last hosted the WPC in 2006, in Gimli, and is next scheduled to host in 2013.
