
If you live in rented housing, Employment and Income Assistance (EIA) will pay your rent up to a maximum rate. EIA may also help you pay your damage or security deposit up to half of one month's rent guideline rate. Please talk to your worker if you need a damage or security deposit.
If you get EIA benefits and live in private rented housing, EIA will pay you up to the following maximum rates for rent. These rates apply to all categories of EIA participants.

* RentAid for Persons Receiving Employment and Income Assistance (EIA) is available to persons with disabilities and adults without dependent children receiving EIA who are renting non-subsidized housing. The amount is $50 per month for persons in private rental accommodations and $30 for persons in room and board.
