Workforce Planning Committee ReportThis report, drafted in 2010, by representatives from the Manitoba Government and General Employees’ Union (MGEU) and the Province of Manitoba outlines the work of the Manitoba/MGEU Manitoba Developmental Centre Workforce Planning Committee.

The focus of the Committee’s discussions was labour issues arising from the declining resident population. Discussion also included possible roles for MDC staff and infrastructure in other capacities in future years, and potential opportunities to promote economic development in Portage la Prairie.
