Welcome to the marketAbilities Program Operating Manual.

The marketAbilities Program of Manitoba Family Services and Consumer Affairs offers a wide range of employment focused services to assist adults with disabilities in preparing for, obtaining and maintaining employment.

This manual provides guidance to staff of the Department and designated agencies in how to administer the program to support individuals applying for assistance or services from the marketAbilities Program.

Please note:

  • This manual covers the marketAbilities Program and services related to funding provided through Manitoba Family Services and Consumer Affairs.
  • Mental Health and the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba programs have their own basic eligibility criteria.

The marketAbilities Program is cost shared by the Government of Canada under the Labour Market Agreement for Persons with Disabilities (LMAPD). Find out more about the agreement on our LMAPD Annual Reports page.
