Student employment

Every year over 1,800 high school and post-secondary students are employed throughout the province by the Manitoba government and its Crown corporations.  Many of these jobs are career-related and can provide you with a valuable opportunity to gain experience in your field of study, work alongside experienced civil service employees and discover the benefits of working in the public sector.

There are also unique employment opportunities through two supplementary programs:

• The CareerOptions for Students with Disabilities program is designed to provide post-secondary students the opportunity to develop new skills in career-related jobs and high school students the opportunity to experience their first jobs.
  
  
• The Quebec Exchange program provides students the opportunity to improve their French language skills and experience the social and cultural life of another Canadian province.
