Service Interruption Notification
Between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, iMaQs may be periodically unavailable due to system upgrades. We apologize for any inconvenience.
iMaQs, the integrated Mining and Quarrying system went live to external users on February 7, 2012. This online system allows you to submit applications and maintain your dispositions from any computer connected to the Internet. You can also view the iMaQs map showing current dispositions and perform a search on the mineral dispositions and open assessment files.
iMaQs Frequently Asked Questions
Only registered users will be able to access their dispositions. If you are a current client with the Mines Branch, you have been sent a letter with your username and password. It is important that you log in using the username and password in the letter to ensure that you are linked to your information and dispositions in iMaQs. We have created a unique username and password for you to access your information in iMaQs. You will be prompted to change your password the first time that you log into the system. If you have not received the letter, please contact the Recording Office to get your information.
After you have changed your password, please verify your contact information. If you have an email address, please edit your profile to enter the correct information. We created sample email addresses if we didn’t have a real one for you. It is important to have a valid email address because notifications will be emailed to you when you submit an application or if there is a change to your dispositions.
You can view the information associated with your dispositions, check the map for existing and cancelled dispositions, view non-confidential assessment files and submit applications from any computer linked to the Internet at any time.
