The results of competitive bidding on May 1, 2024 for Crown oil and gas rights which was offered by Economic Development, Investment, Trade and Natural Resources resulted in a total of $31,924.80 being added to provincial revenue.
Five lease parcels, covering 336 hectares (830.274 acres) were sold for a bonus amount totaling $28,748.80. The average bonus price per hectare for lease parcels sold was $95.01 per hectare ($38.45 per acre).
This is the second land sale scheduled for 2024. The next sale will be held on August 7 , 2024. The deadline for posting requests is May 2, 2024.
