Assistant Deputy Minister

As an executive member of government, the ADM for Business Transformation and Technology has overall responsibility for setting the strategic direction of how Information Communication Technologies (ICT) and Business Transformation should be used to enhance the government's service delivery capabilities.

The ADM oversees the development of key ICT and Business Transformation strategies, policies, standards and business processes to optimize the government's corporate ICT competencies. These activities ensure that appropriate technologies are applied from a business perspective and are fully integrated with government's service delivery requirements.

As well, the ADM works with the broader public sector, citizens and business with a view to modernizing the ICT environment and service delivery models in Manitoba, and to assist in developing a comprehensive e-strategy for the province.
