The Maintenance Enforcement Program (MEP) is authorized by The Family Maintenance Act to administer the spousal and child support obligations under the terms of a Court Order or Agreement. Once an Order or Agreement has been registered with the Program, maintenance payments that the Payor/Debtor would normally remit directly to the Payee/Creditor must be sent to the Program. The Program processes the payment, maintains an accounting record of the payment(s) and forwards the payment to the payee/creditor.
The Maintenance Enforcement Program is set up to monitor and enforce Court Orders and Separation Agreements requiring payment of maintenance support to ensure the well-being of children and other dependents.
The Payee/Creditor is the person receiving the support payments. The Payor/Debtor is the person paying the support.

Possible Delays
The Maintenance Enforcement Program is in the process of introducing a new computer system called the Manitoba Maintenance Management Program (M3P). The new system will allow you to easily access information on your file and will provide you with effective payment methods.
The Program is in the process of converting information from the current system to M3P. We are also working on a new automated telephone system that will be available to clients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. During this transition period the Program will have additional staff to help with possible delays with phone calls. There may also be some delays with mail, email requests and when making a payment at the MEP office. We apologize for any delays and thank you for your patience while our new system is implemented.
If you require specific file information, please contact the MEP at
ManitobaMEPinquiries@gov.mb.ca.

You must have your six digit MEP account number and your personal identification number (PIN) to access information from the MEPLine.
