Fines and Traffic Tickets

Payment Options

Tickets given out in the province of Manitoba can be paid in person at the Provincial Court - Summary Office at 373 Broadway in Winnipeg, or at any rural Manitoba court centre, Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., on weekdays, not including holidays.

All court centres accept debit cards (Interac), credit cards (Visa and MasterCard), money orders, cheques and cash.

You can also mail a cheque or money order – payable to the Minister of Finance – to the court centre address shown on your ticket. When doing so, you should:

  • enclose a copy of your ticket
  • write the ticket number on your cheque or money order
  • allow enough mailing time for the payment to get to the court office by the ticket’s final due date

Tickets can also be paid online and by phone (204-945-4673) 24 hrs. a day to pay by Visa or MasterCard. A fee is charged for using this telephone service

Paying the fine voluntarily means you are pleading "guilty" to the offence charged against you on the ticket.
