Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation (MIT), together with University of Manitoba Transport Institute (UMTI) and the Manitoba Trucking Association (MTA) presents the GrEEEn (Economically and Environmentally Efficient) Trucking incentive program. The program offers incentives to companies/owner-operators that install various technological improvements.

The key objectives of the Manitoba GrEEEn Trucking Program are to:

further demonstrate provincial commitment/leadership in promoting technology and innovation as a way to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from the freight transportation sector
help the private sector, through financial incentives, implement GHG emission reduction technologies
