Accredited Programs
Apprenticeship Manitoba recognizes trades-related courses or programs of study offered by other training institutions, colleges and high schools. Students who take accredited courses can, within a specified time period, apply their course credits towards the technical training requirements of full-time apprenticeship training.
Schools that offer accredited programs have met Apprenticeship standards that include program content, facilities, equipment and quality of instruction. To ensure that training is current and continually updated, an institution's Certificate of Accreditation is valid for a three-year period. Then an application for accreditation must be resubmitted.
