Apply for authorization to use provincial Crown land in Manitoba designated under The Crown Lands Act C.C.S.M.c.C340.

Before You Apply

Before you apply for Crown land tenure, contact your regional Crown Land Specialist to review your proposed use of Crown land, application details, and site plan.  Additional information on Crown land use can be found here:

Completing the Application

Use the checklist included in each application form to ensure all required information is included in your application.  Incomplete or photocopied applications will not be accepted.

Signature Requirements

  • Original (wet ink) signatures are required
  • Electronic, digital, or scanned signatures will not be accepted

Submitting your Application

Completed applications, along with the required application fee must be mailed to:

  • Real Estate Services Branch
    308-25 Tupper Street North
    Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 3K1

Payment Options

  • Cheque or money order made payable to Minister of Finance
  • Do not send cash.  Cash can be accepted in person at the Real Estate Services Branch
    (RESB) office located at 25 Tupper Street North in Portage la Prairie, MB

After You Apply

After your application has been submitted, it will be reviewed for completeness and you will be contacted if additional information is required.  Once an application is considered complete, the application will proceed through a comprehensive review process.
