Initial Pandemic Response

A number of public health measures were implemented during the Manitoba’s initial response to the COVID-19 pandemic.


Travel Restrictions

This included public health orders requiring anyone entering Manitoba, regardless of whether from another country or another province, must self-isolate for 14 days. Click here for additional information on other travel restrictions in place.

Essential Businesses

Essential businesses have been permitted to operate, provided they implement measures to ensure reasonable separation by customers of the business.

Public Gatherings

Child Care
