Field Description:

-highly variable section of amphibolite ranging from massive diorite gneiss (1A) to mafic amphibolite (basaltic) (1B) to laminated mafic wacke (1C)
-probably a volcanic derived raft complex

Field Description:

-several metres of buff to white weathering felsic(?) sediment or highly 'granitized' bleached greywacke
-has odd texture that makes it look like psammite/semipelite variations
-conservatively it is ortho gneiss but compositional variation and proximately to mafic sediments suggests it is leucocratic, silicic sediment.
