Field Description:

-clasts are dominantly mafic volcanic in a matrix rich in hornblende, possibly a volcanic derived mafic sand
-hornblende content increases to south
-no grading, poor sorting
-intrusive clasts dominated by high level porphyrics of several types
-sample a not completly representative as it comes from the most mafic layer
-sample b represents one 8 cm clast of 100 % garnetite
