Field Description:

-whole island is all cross bedded and festooned sands of the feldspathic variety containing thin trough channel conglomerate and pebble pavements
-clasts are polymictic with an abundance bull quartz
-a few fine grained tonalite but predominantly sedimentary clasts
-mafic clasts are rare
-small mafic clasts are extensivly tourmalinized
-one bed of conglomerate has numerous small rhyolite clasts
