-there is some to variation locally of feld. and mafic layers
-one disjointed amphibolite layer about 1 m thick
-TL growth in GRCK is becoming more pronounced and some crystals up to 3x20 mm
-there are rare, thin, HB AM seams containing tourmaline crystals
