Field Description:

-contact with seds in Bay to south
-typical for highly sheared basalt-possibly pillowed basalt-layered black hornblende rich rock with EP-PG-CC-GR layers
-deformation extreme
-one 2 m layer looks like a sheared messy gabbro (see small sample 1B)
-its relation to sheared basalt is obscured by sphearing
