Field Description:

-tectonically layered, black-HB rich
-numerous epidotized pods and veins
-muggy, rusty, gosen patches
-compostional and textural variations across the outcrop
-some layers have 2 to 4 mm rectangular epidote masses disseminated thru it
-this may have been an altered plagioclase prophyric basalt
