Field Description:

-most of outcrop is the younger, light grey, porphyry phase intruded by white GRDR-PGMT and aplites
-foliation is slightly schlieric
-rock contains 2 to 3 % anhedral phenocrysts of white feldspar up to 6 mm...they appear to be white MC
-this is one of the homogeneous grey PORT seen to date
-there are several highly flattened inclusions of ampb, generally massive and gabbroic

Field Description:

-84 cm Molson dike of moderate MG variety
-the margin of the dark is sheared in the 330 degree direction, but there is also a late 050 degree style cleavage
-there is a thin peg. stringer running parallel to the margin 5 cm into the dike (see sample B)
-this does not seem to be a Molson derived peg. and is not an inclusion
