Contents and use of the CD-ROM


A  Introduction:

This CD-ROM is intended as an overview ofthe types of information that are
available for the Uhlman Lake area and the Rusty Lake volcanic belt. 

The data for this publication are presented in Adobe Portable Document Format.
This allows combining of text and graphics, multiple page sizes and the ability
to zoom in for detail.

The .pdf files require that Adobe Reader be installed on your computer. For 
your convenience the Adobe supplied files to install Acrobat Reader version 3 
have been included on the CD-ROM. This includes versions for Windows 3.x, 
Windows 95/98/NT and for Macintosh. The necessary files are in the "Adobe"
folder on the CD-ROM.

ADOBE DIRECTORY

Directory containing executable program to install Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.01 
for either Macintosh (go to MACINTOSH subdirectory) or Windows (go to 16BIT 
subdirectory for Windows 3.x or 32BIT subdirectory for Windows 95/98/NT).

Comprehensive documentation is installed with the software. I will not attempt 
to document the use of Acrobat Reader in this presentation.

Versions of Acrobat Reader for other platforms such as SunOS, Solaris, HP-UX, 
Silicon Graphics, etc. can be obtained from Adobe at http://www.adobe.com.

General Notes
 
1) Projection parameters:
All maps are in UTM zone 14 projection using NAD83 datum.


2) Portable document format file

The .PDF files of this publication have been structured with extensive use of
hyperlinks within and between documents. Any place in the report where text is
surrounded by a blue box are "clickable" hyperlinks. Empty blue boxes are links
to the main index document :Leaf_Rapids.pdf".
