

Fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) is an umbrella term used to refer to a spectrum of disabilities caused by drinking alcohol in pregnancy.

The FASD Program and Policy Consultants at Healthy Child Manitoba provide expertise and work as partners with the community to build new services and improve existing supports at a local level.
This 4 person team works on the prevention of FASD, improving services for individual and families affected by FASD, as well as increasing knowledge of FASD in the community through education, national partnerships, and research.
