Budget 2019 keeps our promises by fixing the finances, repairing services and rebuilding our economy.

We're investing in results for Manitobans and continuing on the road to recovery by strengthening our agricultural sector including:

• increasing investments in the Young Farmer Rebate Program to help address the rising costs of starting a farm operation;
• developing a first-of-its-kind sustainable protein strategy to ensure Manitoba producers and processors will continue to lead plant and animal protein development;
• reducing administrative and lending costs at the Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation, achieved through efficiencies and the strong performance of its lending portfolio;
• seeing growth in private dollar investments and value-added processing; and
• continuing our support for income stabilization programs for producers.
