Capital Project Planning and Delivery

Situated within Central Services' Capital Programs this business area is responsible for the delivery and management of departments' capital projects. Capital Project Planning and Delivery develops, implements and oversees the use of innovative project delivery and project financial methodologies (e.g. P3s, Integrated Design Planning, Value Engineering and Design Build). Consumer Protection and Government Services also administers Federal funding programs within the Agreement Management Unit (AMU) to deliver federal-provincial cost-shared infrastructure programs and initiatives in partnership with other levels of government and third-party proponents throughout Manitoba.

Objectives:

  • To provide leadership and project management expertise for capital project planning and the coordination and delivery of approved capital infrastructure projects. 
  • To provide internal and external professional and technical services for capital project planning, design, procurement, and management of construction contracts.
