Statistical Update on HIV/AIDS
The objective of the annual surveillance update is to describe the epidemiology of newly diagnosed HIV cases among residents of Manitoba over the most current five-year period, with added emphasis on the current year. Surveillance data are presented by year of diagnosis, age and sex, geographic region (at time of diagnosis) and primary mode of transmission.
