Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) Calls to Action

The TRC built a historical record of Canada’s residential school system. This happened through six years of hearings with 6,500 witnesses and their families. The final report came out in 2015 with 94 Calls to Action (CTA). These represent clear policy recommendations. Many CTAs that align with ISB focus on education and employment gaps for Indigenous Peoples. ISB aims to improve this by increasing Indigenous representation in Manitoba Justice.
