Highlights of what’s new in 2010
- On January 1, 2010 the final stage of the three-stage improvement to Manitoba's construction industry wage rates took effect.
- Manitoba introduced Organ Donor Leave on June 18th, 2010. Manitoba currently has seven unpaid leave options for employees.
- As of June 28th, 2010 a principal's signature on a Child Employment Permit application is no longer required.
- Manitoba's minimum wage is currently $9.00 per hour. On October 1, 2010 the minimum wage will increase to $9.50 per hour.
