Children's disABILITY Services (CDS) remains available to support children with disabilities and their families during the COVID-19 pandemic, by adapting our services to follow current public health measures. Read the current edition of our COVID-19 bulletin.

As of November 2, CDS is temporarily suspending in-person meetings with families for case management, child development, autism outreach and behavioural psychology services. Please inquire with service agencies about how they are adapting their services to your family.

Families are encouraged to reach out to their community services worker for support as CDS staff remain available by telephone, email and virtual visits. For help finding the phone number of CDS staff, contact your regional office or 204-945-5898.

While direct services, like respite and employment support, may still be offered at this time, a reminder to cancel services if any member of your household has COVID-19 symptoms, waiting for results of COVID-19 test, been in close contact with a positive case, or may have been exposed to the virus in an outbreak, or directed by Public Health to isolate or quarantine.

Delivery of equipment and medicals supplies will continue during the pandemic.
