Field and Pool Information

Oil has been extracted from oil field and pools in Manitoba since 1951. Regulatory Services provides oversight on these activities to ensure the safe and efficient development of our oil resources while protecting our environment. As part of our accountability to our minister, Manitoba legislation requires annual reports on the activities and accomplishments of Regulatory Services be reported. The designated field and pool booklets by year forms part of that annual report.
