Report on Manitoba's Children and Youth
A major commitment in the legislation is to report every five years to Manitobans about how our province's children and youth are doing, in the context of the Provincial Healthy Child Manitoba Strategy. An inter-departmental working group with representation across the six Healthy Child Committee of Cabinet (HCCC) partner departments formulated the 2017 Child and Youth Report over approximately 18 months. Minister Wishart, Chair of the Healthy Child Committee of Cabinet and Minister of Education and Training tabled the 2017 Child and Youth Report on April 4, 2018.
